Oxymoron....or morons
Since leaving class today I've discovered a new oxymoron--car warranty. Somehow car and warranty doesn't seem to go so well together after the day I've had. Here's some background knowledge. My car died last Tuesday. It would not crank or anything. So, being the good stewart that I am, I immediately called my dealership and asked to have my car towed in for inspection. They couldn't arrange for me to be towed, but gave me the name of a "good guy", as they called him, who could tow it for me. After getting the car there, they promised to call me the next day. I was even given the assurance that the "car warranty" would cover the expenses. So, I'm stranded, but that's okay because they are going to have my car back to me soon and I won't have to pay. The next day comes and no word. The next day comes and I find out that I need a part that has been ordered and I should have my car back on Wednesday. On Wednesday I get a call. The part was moronically, I mean accidentally, shipped to the wrong place. Now I'm getting hot in the collar. Thursday comes and I find out the part did not fix the problem. What's the deal? Well, on today I'm told that I blew a "something" in the engine that caused a "something" to do "something". For all the women, I need a new engine. But, my "car warranty" doesn't cover it becaused apparently I failed to get an oil change at the appropriate time which negates the "car warranty". So, never again will I use the words car and warranty in the same sentence!

I can't imagine you upset. That sucks about the car warranty. It shows what a rip-off some places are.
