Little Things That Make Me Happy

How ironic that Lindsi would pick this topic and one of my former cheerleaders, who is having her first baby, posted as her Facebook status that she never knew "a little pair of socks" would make so her happy.

I'm going to take the easy way out and just try to make a list of things those things.  (Why is it that when you are asked to come up with good things, that proves to be a challenge?)
-Black and white cookies (Donna and Lindsi knew that this had to be near the top of my list)
-bacon (Another given)
-colored pens (this is something that Donna, Lindsi, and I probably all share.)
-golden retriever puppies (Was I able to get around the size issue?)
-99 cent books on amazon.com (I find it quite bizarre that the shipping is more than the book.)
-Frutista Freezes
Okay, so I am stalling out here.
-Post-it notes (I love those things.)
-the scent of Scotch tape
-watching The OC (I never watched it when it was on; I just bought all four seasons and started watching it because Benjamin McKenzie of Southland, is my new eye candy.)
-watching Law and Order: Criminal Intent on Sundays in bed on Sundays instead of doing school work and trying to justify it by the amount of work I do during the week
-taking naps with my golden retriever Lorelai
-the Snapped marathon on Saturdays
-old songs like "Livin' on a Prayer" and "Pour Some Sugar on Me"
-LUCKY CHARMS (I almost forgot about them because I haven't have them in almost a year.)
-chicken wings
-White Chocolate Mochas, which are now non-fat because I admitted to my trainer that I knew how many calories (440) they had in them
-caffeine
-Reese's Piecee
-Cheesecake ice cream with strawberries from Marble Slab
Man, I LOVE food.  Explains why I need a trainer.
-shoes (Since I wear a size 5, they count as "little," right?)
-Lily, the little girl down the street, who says that Lorelai is "hers" since her daddy is allergic to dogs
-my new fabric shower curtain that requires no separate liner because of its innovative waffle-weave design ($24.98, available at Wal-mart)
-being able to shop online (Do you know how long that I wore the wrong size of shoes?  I mean, seriously.  Whatever did we do before the intervention of the Internet?Thank you, Al Gore.)
-recycling
-giving my old clothes to Goodwill . . . so I can go and buy new ones (Actually, this one kind of depresses me, too.  I like being able to give my clothes, which are very nice, to people who are less fortunate.  I don't like that it's because I'm too fat to fit in them.)
-swinging on swing sets (I almost just put swinging but thought the wiser.)
-ice cream cones (And I'm back to food. . . . When I lived in Douglas, I used to get a ice cream cone from Dairy Queen and go swing at what used to be West Coffee Middle when I felt sad.)
-the color orange
-daisies
"Do You Know? (The Ping Pong Song)"- I dare you not to laugh or dance while listening to this song; there is actually the sound of a ping pong in it.
"Big Pimpin'"
"Just Dance"- now because of Jana, I think of the fact that it sounds like she's saying "gotta doo-doo"
