A funny story

A funny story, huh. Well that's a tough one for me. Let's see...hmmm. My bank balance, now there's a knee-slapper. What else....my car is having an expensive repair—I just can't stop laughing about that one. Come on, there has to be something funny to write about. Think, think, think.

How about the dogs? Nope, I can't think of anything funny that they've done lately.

Still thinking.

Nothing is coming to mind. Not just nothing funny, but nothing much at all. This is one of those nights that I would be completely content sitting at a park or in the mall, with my brain parked in neutral, just people-watching. There's a lot to be said for giving your brain cells the night off especially for creative people. I love incubating creative ideas in my mind. Delving into the dark abyss of my psyche in search of seemingly random thoughts planted before Creation awaiting discovery and expression. Plucking that perfect concept from the chaotic cosmos of electrical impulses firing off the neurons of my mind.

Back to people-watching.

  • The one about the bank account really got me. If it is like mine, it is really funny.

  • Your sentence about "plucking that perfect concept..." is AMAZING!
