A Girl and the Evil Dentist

School, docters, friends, family, enemys, and sports. What else could be added to my life long list? Lets think. The DENTIST!

In 4 days and 3 nights I had to go see the evil dentist. There was of course the drill, shots, and everything else that could terrify a child for her life!

Why, why did it have to be me. Oh, right, because I had my first cavity!

Of, course I have been to the dentist, but not with a needle 20 feet long! Or, at least it seems like it.

As I was thinking of all this junk, I was trying to get to sleep. When I finally got to sleep the thoughts continued. NIGHTMARES!

I dremt I was at the dentist, and he called me into the dentist's room. He had seemed real nice, but when we got into the room he got an evil grin and got out the shot! RUN!

But, I couldn't run. When I looked down I was straped down to the seat with chains. What else could go wrong? Oh, right the shot being as painful as 100 needles being jabbed into your eyes.

When I was done with the shot, I was not all the way numb and the dentist started to drill. It hert really bad.

Finally, I woke up. When the dentist day came they could barley get me in the building. But, when everything was over I felt great. My teeth were clean and I got to go get ice cream! It was the best day of my life!

  • Taylor is 11 years old and a rising 6th grader at Lowndes Middle School. She didn't come tonight because she had a better offer...a sleepover at the home of one of the teachers from Clyattville Elementary School where she also goes horseback riding. It must have been a tough choice but she sent her latest story with me (her aunt) and went to the sleepover. She made a point of saying that it was a first draft and she had not edited yet.

  • Taylor, I loved your story. I hope you keep writing. My husband just had a cavity filled too. It wasn't fun for him either. Thanks for sharing.

  • Eww, I don't like the dentist either! But your right, most of the time it's not as bad as we think it's going to be. I'm glad you sent your story.
